While inflation is still going up-up-up, we need to be smart about our leftovers, our over-ordering of products, and mindful of the concern of food scarcity. Chef Nettie Frank will be teaching us how to freeze and save money for your business. By using a freeze dryer, Chef Nettie will guide us through the process of saving on food. Before your food goes bad in your fridge, freeze dry it to preserve the nutrients of your food. Even leftovers from an event can be freeze dried, then rehydrated for a later event, even if it’s 20 years away. Freeze drying can preserve food on your shelves for up to 20 years. You can also add new menu items through freeze drying candy, fruits, and vegetables to give your menu a crisp new look.
