Missy Wright Scroggins, Sales Director, Blue Plate Chicago
Missy joined Blue Plate Catering in 2011 as a Sales Consultant and quickly grew into her role as Sales Director, building a client roster that ranges from luxury social celebrations to global consulting firms and emerging nonprofit organizations. Known for her sharp eye for detail, large scale event operational expertise, and creative approach to hospitality, Missy has helped bring some of Chicago’s most notable events to life, including the NFL Draft, the Chicago Marathon, and the 2024 Democratic National Convention. In addition to leading and overseeing more than 200 events annually for Blue Plate Catering, she also serves as the culinary liaison between the sales team and kitchen, collaborating closely with chefs and event teams to create thoughtful menus and seamless guest experiences that balance creativity, logistics, and execution.
